Appalachian Trail 2035

Project AT2035: One Trail. One Walk. One Shot.

Appalachian Trail 2035 is my long-term plan to take on one of the greatest physical and mental challenges in North America—hiking the full Appalachian Trail from end to end. The AT has fascinated me for years. Over 2,000 miles of trail. One in three finishers. Challenge accepted.

This isn't a weekend hike. This is a life milestone. My goal is to train over several years—backpacking, overnight treks, extended excursions up to a month—to prepare both body and mind. When the time comes, the plan is to go all-in: a full six-month thru-hike, start to finish, no fragments.

I’ll hike the trail. But I won’t be alone. I envision a support crew in a ride-along RV—meeting me at road crossings, resupply points, rest intervals. Maybe it’s just me. Maybe I hike with a friend or two. But it’s going to be fully mapped, fully tracked, and fully real.

AT2035 is not just the hike—it's the full project. Planning, gear, training, strategy, logistics. The blog, the images, the trail journal. I’ll document it all. The real target window to begin? 2030–2035. Until then, we prepare. We walk. We get ready.
